Saffron (Saffie) (PA), is an Old English Bulldog - she's not as round as the classic British Bulldog. Here she is imitating a reindeer and not looking too thrilled about it, Christmas 2002.

Would you believe someone abandoned this beautiful Cocker Spaniel along the side of a highway? A pox on that person. She was lucky, though, to be rescued, and ended up with her foster family in TN, who named her Heidi. Heidi likes to jump in cars, go to the groomers for her 'spa day,' and eat pastries.

Here's Zoe the Maltese (MD), at about four months old, chewing on a stick in her backyard. Zoe likes to chew on fingers, toes, basically anything she can get her teeth on. She barks at herself and goes crazy when she sees her reflection in the mirror

Vesta, a Border Collie mix named for the Roman goddess of the hearth, is right at home with Sam, Jennie, and Gwen in South San Francisco.
