| Boston isn't famous only for terriers! These kitties are named Daisy (MA, orange stripes) and her friend Jake (MA, grey and white). Jake isn't a sweet transvestite, from transsexual Transylvania, but his owners originally thought he was a girl! The vet steered them right. They had originally named him/her "Jayde" and wanted to give him a name that sounded similar. Daisy is about a year younger than Jake, but they obviously get along ok. | |||||||||||||||||||

| Here are sisters Belle (l) and Sophie (r) (NC). Their owner writes, "I call Belle, Baby Belle a lot because she's like the "baby"of the family. Kind of reminds you of a kitten sometimes. Affectionate, sweet, and lovable, but also kind of independent at times. Light as a feather, when you pet her she just goes limp. Sophie is the more mature ne. She seems to nurture Belle like an older cat would, although they're from the same litter. Sophie doesn't like to sit still much and is always watching everything. She loves to chase the shadows of cars passing by on the wall." | |||||||||||||||||||

| This picture of Mookie (NY) looks like, according to his owner, "the typical sketch that would circulate by the NYPD after a subway token booth is held up. He's got a bit of an attitude." Mookie is named for Mookie Wilson, who used to play for the Mets. His middle name is Jake, but he never uses his middle name. I guess Jake, above, is glad of that. | |||||||||||||||||||
