| Check out those bell-bottoms and the pink patterned socks! March 1976, with my French Horn, waiting for a gig with Chicago, the Ohio Players or the Sunshine Band, perhaps? (There still may be hope for the latter.) | ||||||||||||||||||

| My 11th birthday, September 26, 1976. Notice the Dorothy Hamill wedge haircut and the "Turtle Bax Bump" shirt with the disco-dancing turtles. That was the most popular shirt in my sixth-grade class that year. | ||||||||||||||||||

| Summer 1979, at the height of my initial Chicago fan period. It was a big deal to have black iron-on T-shirts with band logos on them in the '70s. This particular decal came in the Chicago VIII record! You couldn't do that with CDs today. This photo was taken during a local "sidewalk days" festival in Culver, and was displayed with a number of other photos at the local drugstore. I have no idea who the man in back is. (Compare this picture to the one of me with the ballooon on the front page of this section.) | ||||||||||||||||||

| You should be able to guess the year of this photo just by looking at my hairstyle. Give up? It's the fall of 1981, just after Princess Diana's wedding. I'm wearing my school uniform. | ||||||||||||||||||
